Thirty years after the Velvet Revolution, the question of where our society is headed is once again raised. What is left for our generation now, at a moment when a renewed social transformation is taking place, which we are all aware of, but which is harder than ever to name?

The authors addressed are deliberately chosen in the age range of 1983 - 1992 to represent the voice of our time as authentically as possible. In their work they use a variety of media from classical painting, sculpture, performance, site-specific installations, to a computer game that the visitor will be able to play himself.

The exhibition concept is inspired by the curatorial project of the curators Mrs. and Mr. Ševčík, entitled What Remains, which took place in 1993 at the Štencův Dům in Prague. The Ševčíks approached a group of actively working artists with the intention of freely selecting from their current work. The result was an exhibition full of fresh art, from which one could sense the clear optimism of the post-revolutionary era looking forward to a better tomorrow. The interpretation of this momentary feeling was ultimately more important to the authors of the exhibition than the imaginary aesthetic integrity.

Although the current young generation is also undergoing a social transformation, they are in a completely different starting point compared to the previous one. Their vision of the future is unclear and instead of the positive expectations associated with change, they feel more fear of alienation, loss of attention, inability to communicate, manipulation of public space and the generally high demands of the society around them. And it is these insecurities that are reflected in the work of the artists in the group exhibition.
